DAY 01 : ARRIVAL ATHENS
Meet and greet upon arrival at Athens Airport and transfer to Hotel. Check in to Hotel at 1400hrs. Free at own leisure. Overnight on Athens.
DAY 02 : ATHENS (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. At morning, make by own way to the starting point of Half Day Guided Panoramic Tour of Athens. Pass the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier that stands in front of Parliament House on Constitution Square, and see the Presidential Mansion that served as the Royal Palace before the country's monarchy was abolished in 1974. See the Panathenaic Stadium - site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 - and then relax as coach drives along Panepistimiou, home to Athens ' National Library and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, known locally as 'Mitropoli'. After seeing the highlights of modern Athens, step back in time with a tour of the city's past. Visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus, and then stop at Athens' crowning glory: the Acropolis of Athens. Built on a rocky hill towering above the city, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed acropolis comprises a cluster of ancient buildings that once collectively acted as a fortress. Each building was created to reflect the splendor and wealth of Athens during the 5th century. Then, drop back to starting point of tour. Proceed to hotel by own. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 03 : ATHENS (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Proceed to a Full day tour to Olympia. Olympia is one of the 5 ancient sites that must visit. Enroute a short stop at the Corinth canal. Then, arrive at Olympia and visit the archaeological museum, the museum of the ancient Games (Closed on Saturday & Sunday), and the ancient site. Learn the history of The "sacred" Sanctuary with the temples, the administration buildings, the sports complex, and the stadium of Olympia. Then, return Athens and drop to the starting point. Proceed to the hotel on by own. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 04 : ATHENS (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Proceed to Full day trip to Delphi. Hear the tales about the ancient Greeks and their lives in Delphi while travelling to the town. Pass through the towns of Levadia and Arachova - both famous for their production of brightly colored carpets. Take a tour of the Delphi archaeological site - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and easily one of the most important digs in Europe. As walk around the evocative ruins with guide, see famous monuments like the Temple of Apollo. Head inside Delphi Archaeological Museum and explore this veritable treasure trove at leisure which is a home to countless artifacts and intriguing relics. Then, return to Athens. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 05 : ATHENS / KALAMBAKA (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Departure transfer to Athens Train Station to connect train to Kalambaka. (Standard Train Travel Included). Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Check in to Hotel. Free at own leisure. Overnight in Kalambaka.
DAY 06 : KALAMBAKA / ATHENS (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Proceed for a Half day Guided Tour of Meteora with Theopetra Cave. Meteora is located just over 3 miles (5.4 km) from central Kalambaka and is a remote region of sandstone peaks where, from the 11th century onwards, monks settled. Marvel at the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the awe-inspiring sandstone pillars and spend a few minutes snapping photos. With local guide by side, visit two of the remaining monasteries. While explore the sites, listen to guide share fascinating stories about the first hermits and monks who settled in Meteora, and discover their motivations for building the monasteries atop the sheer rock spires. Then, proceed to south of Meteora to the prehistoric Theopetra Cave. Situated at the foot of the Chasia mountain range, the cave shows sign of being continuously inhabited from 135,000 BC to 4,000 BC and holds some of the earliest historical secrets in the world, including the oldest known man-made structure. (Note: Theopetra Cave is closed in Mondays, when you'll visit one additional monastery). Then, return to the hotel. At afternoon, departure transfer to the train station to connect train to Athens. (Standard Class Train Travel Included). Arrival transfer to Hotel. Check in to Hotel. Overnight at Athens.
DAY 07 : DEPART ATHENS (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Free at own leisure until departure transfer to Airport for flight departure home.
